Description

KPV Pre Mixed Peptide 2mg

This product is intended for research purposes only. To be used by trained professionals only.

The KPV pre mixed peptide, a naturally occurring tripeptide made up of lysine, proline, and valine, is attracting substantial attention in the scientific community due to its wide variety of possible medicinal applications. Notably, multiple research have emphasised its anti-inflammatory capabilities, which have implications for a number of health issues.

KPV peptides were found to increase intracellular calcium in human keratinocyte cells, a key mechanism for skin cell activity and regeneration [1]. This shows that KPV may be useful in the treatment of skin conditions such acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Another study in the found that KPV prevented the migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) and the production of proinflammatory mediators in a urate peritonitis model [2].

KPV pre mixed peptide has showed promise in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease in the field of gastroenterology. A piece of research found that the PepT1-mediated tripeptide KPV decreased intestinal inflammation [3], implying a potential involvement in the treatment of disorders such as ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. Furthermore, the KPV pre mixed peptide has been investigated as a fluorescent probe target in imaging studies of chronic and acute ulcerative colitis [4].

The effect of KPV in tumorigenesis inhibition has also been studied. According to one trial, KPV pre mixed peptide may slow the growth of colitis-associated cancer [5]. Furthermore, antimicrobial peptide research revealed the potential therapeutic applications of a dimeric octamer peptide composed of two units of KPV peptide joined by a cysteine-cysteine linker [6].
